Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Pelican Universal Travel's website and booking through it. By making a booking or an inquiry, you agree to them. Pelican Universal Travel runs on Safaris.rw, a platform that provides the website, booking, and payment infrastructure — this page covers your relationship with Pelican Universal Travel, the business you're booking with.

Bookings and inquiries

When you submit a booking or inquiry, you're sending Pelican Universal Travel a request — it's confirmed once Pelican Universal Travel accepts it and, where a price is shown up front, once payment goes through. For tours or stays where the price isn't shown, Pelican Universal Travel will follow up with a quote before anything is charged. Make sure the details you submit (dates, party size, contact info) are accurate — Pelican Universal Travel plans around what you provide.

Payment

Where a booking is paid online, payment is processed through Mobile Money or card, via Safaris.rw's payment infrastructure, on Pelican Universal Travel's behalf. We don't store your full card number — that's handled directly by the payment processor.

Changes and cancellations

To change or cancel a booking, contact Pelican Universal Travel directly using the details on the contact page. Refund handling depends on how far ahead you cancel and the payment method used — Pelican Universal Travel will let you know what applies to your booking.

Your account

If you create an account to track your bookings, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure. Your account is specific to Pelican Universal Travel's site — it doesn't carry over to other businesses on Safaris.rw.

Acceptable use

• Submitting false or misleading booking details.
• Attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or another traveler's account.
• Using the site for anything illegal or fraudulent.

Liability

Pelican Universal Travel is responsible for the tours, stays, or transport it offers. Safaris.rw provides the underlying website, booking, and payment platform but isn't a party to the booking itself.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.

Changes to these terms

Pelican Universal Travel may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
